Dr. Scott LScott L. Stanley, O.D.

Dr. Stanley grew up in Albany, OR where he graduated from West Albany High School. After graduating with a Bachelors degree in biology from Willamette University in Salem, he attended the Southern Californian College of Optometry in Fullerton, CA. Dr. Stanley moved to Roseburg in July of 2002, joining Dr. Scott Woodruff at New Visions Eyecare. Dr. Stanley also worked in the optometry department at the Roseburg VA hospital for several years.

Dr. Stanley is active in the local community and has been the President of Roseburg Rotary Club and Chamber of Commerce Greeters, and a graduate of Project Leadership and the Ford Family Leadership Program. He is also on the board of the Umpqua Valley Boys & Girls Club and has been highly involved in the Greater Douglas County United Way. Dr. Stanley has donated his time to many local elementary schools for vision screenings. Dr. Stanley is a member of the Oregon Optometric Physicians Assoc., as well as the American Optometry Assoc.

Dr. Stanley’s training includes ocular disease and contact lenses for patients of all ages. His experiences with patients range from in-house nursing home care to preschool vision screenings. He continues to be up to date with the latest diagnostic and treatment techniques.
